Intelligent apartments at Mokotowska 59 street
Mokotowska 59 is one of the first housing developments in Poland which offers the Home Management System to such a great scale. Apart from the convenience of use, HMS ensures a more effective use of energy at home, contributing to savings on electricity bills, and thus reduces CO2 emission to the atmosphere.
The main idea behind the Home Management System is to reduce the number of unnecessary activities in a daily use of the apartment. That is why the Mokotowska 59 city house is equipped with the automatic light switch on/off function in bathrooms, corridors and rooms. The option of switching off all electrical equipment with one button is also a great convenience. System users will be also able to program the so-called light scenes and to regulate the light intensity in individual apartment rooms. HMS also allows to set up very personal "scenarios" - e.g. automatic activation of the radio at the hour consistent with the schedule of each resident.
In the case of Mokotowska 59, the HMS is supported by the Building Management System (BMS) which is responsible for a general control of the condition of the city house. BMS monitors all types of damage to the building and offers additional facilities available in common areas to all residents. One of BMS functions is a system which controls the entry into the garage. Owing to a special card reader installed in a car it is enough for a car to be 9 meters from the sensor for the garage door to open automatically.
The system also improves the security of tenants. A key element constituting a security feature for each apartment is the entrance into each stairwell. Apart from satisfying aesthetic needs, its main task is to eliminate a possibility of entry by unauthorised persons. For this purpose, at the entrance to the Mokotowska 59 city house fingerprint scanners which allow a fast identification of tenants as well as video intercoms for visitors were installed. Another interesting solution are surroundings monitoring functions displayed on panels owing to video cameras installed on the patio and at the front of the building.
